Peace In Chaos

Sometimes life can seem like a jazz melody. In the midst of what many see as a chaos of chords, there’s a gentle under current of a song praising God.

Searching for the Melody

I recently attended a Jazz Christmas Concert. In the midst of a jazz improv moment, there’s an under current of rejoicing because of Emmanuel and Peace coming on earth. The melody may seem lost in the syncopated beats, but God is still at work, even in the midst of the chaos.

I guess the secret of walking this journey is to find in the midst of the chaos, the melody reminding us that God is walking with us no matter what. His promise is “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:8). Peace in the midst of chaos, only comes as we remember He is always with us, even when we wonder where He is. When life seems like a jazz melody, I encourage you to search for the presence of God in the midst of that chaos.

Just a guy on a journey,
