It’s the final race weekend of the year at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario. Of course it’s always great returning to the track and connecting with drivers as the NASCAR Pinty’s Series quickly winds down for the year.

Chatting with Drivers

Earlier this morning I wandered around the garage area connecting with a few drivers to chat about their year and the race tomorrow. While we didn’t talk about deep spiritual things, it’s always great to encourage drivers and have an opportunity to pray with them.

It’s a tight point race and the drivers are ready to keep pressing on. Treyten Lapcevich is in the points race for the championship and he’s looking forward to a good day tomorrow. Much like life, the drivers are pressing on for a prize, and as believers we “press on toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14).
